THE LUMIERE APPLICATION PROCESS
Stage 1: Online Application
The first step to becoming a scholar is to apply! Each cohort has an application deadline (see here), so ensure that you submit your application before that date!
Stage 2: Interview Round
Stage 3: Mentor Matching
If your application is shortlisted, you move to the interview round, where you will have an interview with a Lumiere staff member and elaborate on your research interests and ideas!
After your interview, the Lumiere team will work on finding you the best mentor match based on your interests and aims. You will also be notified of your application decision at this stage.
Stage 4: Starting Your Research!
Once you are aligned with your proposed mentor and have fulfilled all the logistical requirements from your end, you can officially kickstart the journey of a Lumiere Research Scholar!
RESEARCH SHOULD BE ACCESSIBLE
We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to do research in their areas of interest. As a part of our mission to make research opportunities more available for high school, students, we also offer financial aid and scholarship to our scholars.
Students may indicate their need for financial aid in their application form.

The Lumiere Research Scholar Program is selective in its process. Here's what we look for in applicants:
