In this summer teaching internship, you will participate in a summer teaching residency with a stipend to gain classroom experience and enhance leadership abilities. The UCP Charter Schools Summer Future Teacher Academy offers students enrolled in a teacher prep program opportunities to explore a teaching career in depth during the summer. You will gain hands-on experience in a classroom through this mentored, paid internship, learning about creating lesson plans and developing classroom management and behavior management strategies. You may be required to attend professional meetings and participate in school activities. You will acquire the knowledge, skills, and dispositions that are required for the teaching profession. ELC's Aspire Teacher Training Institute offers undergraduate students opportunities to explore careers as skilled early learning educators through a pre-apprenticeship program. You will attend virtual classes with a customized curriculum in early childhood education. You will receive hands-on, in-depth training and intern under the mentorship of ELC early childhood specialists. You will also participate in workshops to develop professional skills and job interview skills, with a career guidance session led by professionals. At the end of the internship, you will get assistance with potential employment opportunities and are eligible for the Level I Apprenticeship course and subsequently the Director course.

The Florida Virtual School (FLVS) internship, led by certified educator instructors, provides virtual studying and learning opportunities through course lessons and content in an assigned subject. You will participate in a mandatory intern training before starting this summer teaching internship. You will interact one-on-one with students and parents to offer a personalized educational experience. Through this non-teaching teaching internship, you gain insight into the programs and policies of promoting foreign languages at the elementary, secondary, and postsecondary levels in the U.S. You will work on a diverse range of tasks, including gathering data on international and foreign language education, making creative infographics, assisting in video production, and more which may be beneficial for a future career as an educator. You will enhance research, communication and team collaboration skills.

PACE University's summer teaching internship for undergraduates offers internships across a diverse range of fields, including teaching and educational projects. Potential internships include taking on the role of a summer program associate to support entrepreneurship education teachers and their prep for instructional sessions, or as a teaching intern to collaborate with public school teachers in developing lesson plans, group activities, classroom management strategies, and more. You will enhance communication and public speaking skills and gain networking experience with professionals. Ladder University Internship Program is a selective, virtual internship program where you work with startups and nonprofits from around the world! The startups range across a variety of industries. As part of their internship, each student will work on a real-world project that is of genuine need to the startup they are working with, and present their work at the end of their internship. If you’re interested in pursuing independent research, consider applying to one of the Lumiere Research Scholar Programs, selective online high school programs for students founded with researchers at Harvard and Oxford.
