If aviation or aerospace engineering genuinely interests you, a summer program is one of the better ways to explore it seriously before college. Depending on the program, you might log flight hours, work through simulator training, study aircraft systems and meteorology, or engage with the physics and engineering principles that make flight possible. That combination of academic depth and practical experience is difficult to find anywhere else at the high school level.
