You will meet weekly with Trinity’s chaplains for guided reflection sessions, making SPARK unique in its focus on both professional and spiritual development. The cohort is typically very small, supporting only 4 to 5 interns each year, making the internship a deeply mentored, hands-on experience.

The Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) Internship Program lets college students experience and contribute to real R&D work. You will take part in hands-on lab work, engineering challenges, and industrial workflows, gaining experience in large-scale research. Most internships wrap up with a presentation or project deliverable shared with technical staff. Eligibility requirements, dates, and deadlines vary by posting, and some positions may require specific degree programs and coursework. Many SwRI internships are full-time and competitive, with application details posted on the institute’s internships page.
