KAAC Summer Camp is meant for academic team students looking to improve their skills in Governor’s Cup events such as Quick Recall, Content Assessment, and Future Problem Solving (FPS). You’ll stay on campus at Berea College, take three daily classes in subjects such as math, science, language arts, social studies, arts and humanities, and FPS, each tailored to academic team topics. You can choose to focus on one subject all day or mix and match subjects based on your strengths and interests. Camps are led by some of the best academic coaches in the state, giving you expert guidance throughout the week. Scholarships are available with an essay and recommendation, and a day-camp option if you prefer not to stay overnight.
Stephen is one of the founders of Lumiere and a graduate of Harvard College, where he earned an A.B. in Statistics. He founded Lumiere as a PhD student at Harvard Business School. Lumiere is a selective research program where students work 1-1 with a research mentor to develop an independent research paper.
