The Dinah Whipple STEAM Academy is for middle and high schoolers to learn STEAM subjects. In this interdisciplinary course, you explore a range of science subjects, including chemistry. The program involves basic science and engineering principles and disciplines through explorative hands-on activities. You learn from professional engineers as well as peer mentors who guide you throughout the program. Regarding the humanities subjects, you learn about the Black experience in the US, the origins of African empires, and prominent Black figures in American history.


Stephen is one of the founders of Lumiere and a Harvard College graduate. He founded Lumiere as a Ph.D. student at Harvard Business School. Lumiere is a selective research program where students work 1-1 with a research mentor to develop an independent research paper.
