15 Hospital Internships for Undergraduates in Florida

If you’re an undergraduate student in Florida planning a healthcare career, a hospital internship can give you the kind of practical experience that sets you apart as you apply for jobs post-graduation!

Florida has a large network of hospitals and medical research centers where you can learn directly from healthcare professionals. An internship in one of these settings lets you take on real responsibilities, build practical skills, and see how different parts of a hospital work together. You might help with patient support, assist in administrative tasks, or contribute to research projects.

These internships can also make your resume stronger. Employers and graduate programs value candidates who have worked in professional healthcare settings, and a hospital internship shows both capability and commitment. You’ll gain industry exposure, expand your skills, and make connections that could help you later in your career.

To help you find the right fit, here’s a list of 15 hospital internships for undergraduates in Florida! If you want to explore more selective programs to strengthen your applications, check out our related blogs.
